OK, day three in Lund at Studio Bengt with Matte P. The Mission of the day was to lay down all the vocals and to check if we needed to do something more while we still had the chance, since this was the last day in the studio. All five songs went pretty smoothly and my voice did not give me any problems. Thank God/Satan/Goat for Singers saving Grace Soothing throat spray! For the the first time in Pyramidos history someone else than me would contribute to the vocal department. Dan aka the Bass man helped out on two songs. Dan hadn't screamed for long time... we are talking decades here. Sounded awesome, like a pissed off old man, which he is! Look at the big vein, it´s about to burst! We played around with a Roland RE-201 Space Echo on vocals in one of the songs. It turned out great.
Dan aka Guitar guy needed to lay down some more guitar takes on the song we call the Kyuss song just to enhance a part in the song. So after that was done we were finished at Studio Bengt,
Dan was this happy about that
So the stuff that is left is to let Mr Monorail lay his hands on some of the tracks and then back to Matte P for mixing and mastering. Cant wait to hear it mixed.
...But the day was not over for the working stiff at Långsam Rock AB (= Slow Rock Corporation) next up was a photoshoot with our good friend Jens Nordström. We met up at his studio and took some nice photos for the "Salt" cover
We and Jens are really psyched about the pictures!
That is it for today, Over and out/Ronnie
